Alexa's wisdom and extensive experience with touch therapy is best described with these four types of touch. Read on to learn more about the kinds of touch that Alexa brings into her sessions.

Healing Touch is contact that is filled with presence, intuition, compassion, and responsiveness. It holds the frequency of trust in the desired outcome and non-attachment to what that may look like. In this way the therapy giver keeps themselves as a clear channel, instead of allowing their ego an influence in the session.
Intuition Touch is guidance that comes from a trusted and verified higher source. It often comes as a feeling, an indescribable knowing, and sometimes it is heard or envisioned. Alexa has been connecting with her intuition for all of her life. She has also experienced the years of being trained out of listening to it, and instead following culture norms and expectations put in place by the authorities around her. By undergoing intense experiences across many powerful years, she has gained profound remembering that brought her back to her original knowing and communication with her Higher Self, Guides, and Source. Through learning to connect and communicate with her own Higher Self and Guides, she then learned, through healing sessions with others, to connect and communicate with their Higher Selves and Guides.
Intuitive Healing happens when space is allowed for the power and wisdom of the client’s bodies (we have more than our physical body at work in our experience) to come forward and realign, reconnect, and recharge as they need to. Alexa is directed by the intelligence of these energies communicating with her to hold certain points on her client’s body, or to work with one of more of her client’s chakras, or even to open a conversation about her client’s relationship with an aspect
of his or her self or life that is coming to the forefront asking for healing. At times vibrational frequencies will be integrated as they are efficient lifters and cleansers of disharmonic energies. Flower essences, essential oils, and crystals may also be used for this purpose.
A person once asked a great teacher which acts are compassionate, that they may set about doing them. The teacher, who was very wise, said that there are no compassionate actions. One must nourish the energy of compassion within themselves, and then any act the person takes is a act that comes from compassion.
Compassionate touch has to do with the frequency of the one making contact. Compassion, like any virtue, must be fed, trained, nourished, and loved. Like a plant, it grows from a seed to a mighty tree. True compassion starts with self-compassion. Anything we want to truly embody and know must begin at the self.
Alexa has been a loving, kind, and giving person since she was a child. That part was easy for her, as it came naturally. It was accepting and loving the shadow in herself and the “hateful” things in others that was a great challenge for her. Life has brought her many opportunities to forgive and let light flow into those previously closed places.

She has come to learn about the pains of humanity and the wounds deeply rooted in each of us. Through learning to make space free of judgments for the parts of herself and others she did not understand, she has gained a wider perspective, which has allowed her to see things that not all people see.
Through this lifelong training, she has cultivated compassion in her body and can transmit this frequency through her hands, eyes, and voice. It is a constant life practice for her, and she loves how far she has come in her own self-love, self-acceptance, and self-exploration journey.
Being responsive means being attentive to changes, listening to feedback, and shifting one’s actions accordingly. When one is responsive in their touch, the receiver feels seen, heard, safe, and valued. Body tissues soften and make space to go through their process of unwinding. Our physical body will not go into deep healing mode unless it feels truly safe, acknowledged, seen, and respected.
Alexa has been a Body Listener and Communicator for some time, starting with when she was a child, loving on the pets in any house her parents brought her to. Animals have less complexity than humans and she felt very at ease with them. They taught her much about consensuality, consideration, and the deeper unspoken language of our bodies.
Being a body-worker since 2006 Alexa works on many levels of the body and waits for each to open to her. She is aware when “doorways” open and a body lets her in to a deeper level. She also knows when there is a pushing back, and she has upmost respect for the body’s guarding responses and protective systems.
She believes that a body is never “bad”, or trying to create problems. Instead it is always doing the very best it can, given what it has and is going through. Like a detective, Alexa works with body to see what is where and how things are connected through space and time (as that can be seen in tissues, because our bodies have memory).
